The island is famed for its undisturbed beaches, crystal clear waters and ancient woodlands and is the perfect picnic spot. Boats leave from the harbour in Cannes, or for a real treat, why not hire the villa owners wonderful Sunseeker Yacht and explore in style!

Valbonne 

A beautiful old town in a peaceful valley. Wander the tranquil streets, the boutique fashion shops and the antique dealers before taking lunch in Renaissance era Place a Arcades. Don’t forget to sample the local wine. 

Nice 

Nice International Airport is approximately 35 minutes by car - and Nice itself is very much worth a visit. Walk the Promenade des Anglais, explore the charms of the Old Town (Instagram snaps at the flower market), sample the local food, and explore galleries after lunch. Those looking for more adventure can enjoy parasailing, snorkelling, diving, jet-skiing. 

Antibes 

The ancient walled city of Antibes is an essential day trip, with a thriving art and music scene and the famous Picasso museum. It’s always worth pausing at a café for some people watching. You never know who you may see: Beyonce, Kate Moss and the Beckhams are frequent visitors. 

Grasse 

Head into the hills north of Cannes to discover the town of Grasse, the home of the French perfume industry and the celebrated Musée International de la Parfumerie. Also a perfect spot for lunch, some retail therapy and a wander through the wonderful flower gardens. 

Mougins 

Located in the hills above Cannes and surrounded by olive groves, cypress trees and pine forests, Mougins offers relaxed restaurants, interesting galleries and quiet shopping. But there is another side to the town! Check out Altitude 06 for the adrenalin thrill of Canyoning. Jumps, slides and swimming in the crystal clear waters.
